In My Contemporary Media class I made a Lebron James Basketball card. I also followed all the steps one by one. I went to the class website and I went on photoshop and put the picture on the photoshop and  I started to read the directions and I did step by step I made the picture look really cool and I use alot of tools for this project i like how we put the picture on the basket ball court and made it look real and like hes really behind the court this wasnt a hard project i liked it.

Photoshop Portrait Project

For my second assignment we were asked to make a self portrait with the help of photoshop. Even though the project was composed of three steps, they were pretty hard to follow along as with the computer would have some minor mistakes. 

We encountered some flaws in the work but with great passion we figured out how to fix and learn from our mistakes. We started by taking a black and white selfie, and with that step we imported the image to photoshop and we place a paper over our image, with the help of photoshop we were able to add watercolor and paint on the portrait. And finally we had to import the image to our desktop and finally our blog, i would have to say this project helped me understand photoshop a bit better than i had before.

What is Contemporary Media

In my Contemporary Media class,our first assignment is to define Contemporary Media.according to Wikipedia.com the definition is as follows:

"New media most commonly refers to content available on-demand through the Internet, accessible on any digital device, usually containing interactive user feedback and creative participation. Common examples of new media include websites such as online newspapers, blogs, wikis, video games and social media. A defining characteristic of new media is dialogue. New Media transmit content through connection and conversation. It enables people around the world to share, comment on, and discuss a wide variety of topics. Unlike any of past technologies, New Media is grounded on an interactive community."

I use Technology everyday and the Media that I use the most is Snapchat, Instagram messenger, KIK. Social Media  means everything  to me because I have all my friends on there and I like to look at makeup videos on Instagram. I use Snapchat for the funny faces they have on there. I use both for pictures.
